look, ma, my hands are shaking
oh silly girl, don't you know it's cold?
the sun never stops shining, at the valley we call home
so why do i spend my days shivering in solitude?
oh silly girl, i'll put a blanket around you,
covering you from head to toe.
can't you see, ma?
it's only cold inside my soul
look, ma, kids are swimming outdoor
but once i step into the water,
the lake sends me away with a freezing tone
(winter loves me like you never could)
summer is knocking on my door,
i'll keep ignoring it the best i can
and pray to god i won't wake up
with half of me melted in the sand.
